Meet Wayne Brown
Wayne is the owner of PROCESS 4 circle arts GALLERY. “I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” This Albert Einstein quote inspired Wayne in both his business style as well as his artistic creativities. He has built a business whose very foundation is imagination; both as an artist and entrepreneur as well as encompassing the imagination of local artists whose works Wayne displays and sells at PROCESS 4 circle arts GALLERY. Wayne is passionate about promoting the visual arts as well as the performing arts. Wayne feels that “Few activities contribute as much to our quality of life and to the health of our communities than do the arts!” Wayne believes that when purchasing a piece of art—buy what you like, regardless of who the artist is.
Wayne spends a great deal of his free time doing what he has made as his life’s work: creating art. Wayne says, "It’s the process of painting and photography that gives the most satisfaction.” He also makes time for outdoor activities, like skiing, canoeing, hiking and travel. Wayne is the Vice President of the Lakes District Arts Council, Director of the Lakes District Film Society, a regional representative of the Central Interior Arts Council and a Director of ARTcore 54, which is a collective of north central BC artists.
