Lynne Martens

Lynne is a self-taught artist living and painting in Northern BC. A native of BC, Lynne spent most of her career working with disabled children in the school system. She has had a love of visual arts all her life and gets most of her inspirations from the north. Lynne originally started with graphite portraits and has developed an interest in scratch art and the chromacolor medium. Lynne's passion for detail in her clayboard and visual painting originally started with portraits, as her work progressed she began experimenting with pencil crayons, pen and ink, epoxy resin, and acrylics on multiple canvases. She now works exclusively with chromacolor and claybord. She uses a combination of pen and ink to provide intricate textures and detail to each visual painting, making each one unique.
