Meet Jill Elliott
Jill Elliott and her husband returned to the Burns Lake area in 2001 when they decided it would be the place to raise a family. She loves that Burns Lake is a community full of supportive and friendly people that believe in their community. Jill has always loved magazines and decorating shows, and was encouraged by friends and family to turn her passion into a business. She worked towards the goal of working from home by completing her Interior Decorating Certificate by distance education while on her maternity leaves.
In 2009 when her youngest child was two, she quit her job and started “Interiors by Jill.” She wanted a flexible schedule so that she could spend more time with her kids and be available to volunteer at their school. Jill works from home on the shores of Tchesinkut Lake. It is here that Jill and her family spends time together canoeing, walking, cross country skiing and biking.
The beauty of the area has inspired her to create using layers of coloured glass. Recently the gift boutique area of her home has been transformed into an art glass studio. She loves working with colour using paint chips and fabrics, and is using her latest passion for fused glass art as an additional way to work with colour.
Small. Unique. Quality Service.
Interiors by Jill wants to work with you to create a space that looks, feels and functions the way you want it to. Jill will meet with you at your home to discuss your concerns and hopes for the space and then return a few days later to present a written summary that includes ideas, solutions, inspirational photos and a list of resources. You can then keep this document and use it to change the room over time, or hire Interiors by Jill to make your perfect space a reality. Jill looks forward to working with you to achieve the space you have always dreamed of.
